The package contains the sample application, "tester.exe", licensed with the VCFLMS and the Windows-based client VCFLMS GUI.
The VCFLMS GUI is launched at the end of the setup process.
Simply enter the Username and Password that you were emailed from the VLM for this application.
Tester.exe is merely a primitive console application.

You will need to run it from a DOS prompt. E.g.:

1. Select Start -> Programs -> MS DOS Prompt from your Windows Start Menu
2. At the DOS Prompt ">" type "cd C:\Program Files\VLMS demo application" and press the {ENTER} key.
3. Type "tester.exe" and press the {ENTER} key.
4. If you have a valid license (in the "vlm.txt" file), then the tester.exe application will respond with:
   "VLM License is valid.
   Checking for licensed features...
   Hello, World!"
5. If you do not have a valid license (e.g. you rename the "vlm.txt" file in the C:\Program Files\VLMS demo application directory), then the tester.exe application will respond with:
   "License not valid for this machine!(-3)"
   

It just displays the license status and exits.

This demonstration is just meant to be a simple example for how your applications can be easily licensed, distributed and installed with the VCFLMS.
