What do we mean anyway by Virtual Consulting?
Well, why don't we work together to formulate
a good definition of
"Virtual Consulting" ok?
I'll start, ok? ;)
A very brief, starting point definition of "Virtual
Consulting", which I
have proposed in other forums, is ...
Performing (any type of) consulting services
virtually / remotely,
e.g. via telecommuting and/or email and/or the
internet, etc. vs. in
person / in house at the client's site(s).
So ...
What do you all think of this as a starting point
for a definition of
"Virtual Consulting"?
How might we improve upon and/or expound upon
this definition?
We look forward to hearing your thoughts!

thought it only fair to use my Introduction as
a (brief) example for
you, so ... here goes ...
My name is Michael S. DeVries.
I am the Principal of The Virtual Consulting
Firm

I am a former Certified, Senior Consultant for
an Application Solutions
Consulting Practice for the IBM Consulting Group.
I have been working in the IT industry for over
thirteen (13) years
specializing in all phases of the Software Development
Life Cycle
(SDLC).
I won't "bore you" with the list of
consulting and professional services
available from The Virtual Consulting Firm nor
with more details from my
CV / Consulting Biography and/or Resume, as these
are all available for
those (few ;)) truly interested through the link/URL
listed above, ...
But ... some of benefits I would like to realize
