their customers from trial to permanent status at any time.
Additionally, V-Lock provides Feature Control. Vendors can control which features of
their software are 'active' for each customer individually. Developers can compile and release
a single product version containing all features thus reducing time spent compiling and maintaining
multiple product versions. V-Lock currently provides up to 10 "feature keys" per customer license.
Most importantly - Your software will run only on the machines for which customers
have purchased licenses. Unauthorized copies will not run. License keys can not be traded, as they are
only valid on the machine for which they were generated!
Your software will not depend on a server connection at runtime either. The licenses generated by The
VLMS allow software to run offline, not depending on
a remote server. License keys are issued through our server for your convenience, but you control
your customer's access to the server!
Upon purchasing the VCFLMS/Vlock, Software Vendors receive a VLock Vendor ID and password
for the VLM's license key server.
As a vendor you can create customer accounts and administer your customer's licenses using this
id/password combination.
Customer administration can be performed at VLocks's Vendor
Central website or automatically by your company's own website when customers purchase your
software product.
And you may set up a Signature (a.k.a Sig File) to automatically be appended to each and every email message sent out upon issuing a product license to help upsell related products and/or services to all of your existing customers! :)

The package contains the sample application, "tester.exe", licensed with the VCFLMS and the Windows-based client VCFLMS GUI.
The VCFLMS GUI is launched at the end of the setup process.
Tester.exe is merely a primitive console application.
You will need to run it from a DOS prompt.
It just displays license status and exits.
This package is just meant to be a model for how applications can be licensed and distributed with the VCFLMS.
